The Shield Embassy Series is forced entry resistant and designed to withstand entry from highly skilled attackers using heavy-duty tools such as sledge hammers, crow bars, wrenches, and wedges. It was tested at NTS Chesapeake in Belcamp, MD and Intertek in York, PA to the US State Department (DoS) forced entry standard at the 5 minute level (FE 5) and at the iFT Rosenheim laboratory in Germany and was awarded a Security Class 3 (RC 3) rating according to European standard EN1627. The Embassy Series was also tested for bullet resistance to UL752 level 3 and JIN level IIIA, and European standard EN1522 level FB4. The door is suitable for private houses, apartments and commercial buildings.

The Embassy Series is designed to help create a secure environment for locations with elevated threat profiles or security challenges, providing protection against burglary or forced entry. Its 3-inch thick door leaf and unique security features are the result of years of research, development, and testing against a wide variety of burglary methods. Additionally, the door was tested for internal and external penetration to ensure that it is as secure from the inside as from the outside.

The Embassy Series comes with the following features:

1. Armoured locks encased in drill resistant manganese plates to prevent manipulation. Optional motorized lock with biometric fingerprint scanner, GSM controller, and other high-tech access control capabilities.

2. High security cylinders with unique key management options.

3. Ball bearing security hinges designed to easily adjust at installation.

4. A multi-point locking system with up to 16 locking points that secures the door on the lock side, top and bottom, and hinge side.

5. Superior heat and sound insulation thanks to a 2" layer of rock wool.

6. A virtually unlimited range of architectural designs, millings, glazings and colors for the decorative door panels to create a door that is both highly secure and beautiful.

7. An L-shaped door frame profile secured into the structural opening with 16 tamper-proof lag bolts protected by 1" steel threaded shims.
